Meet Roy Ripper
Recognised within the recruitment industry as one of the foremost recruitment and executive search and selection experts in the world, Roy has worked within the industry for over 37 years.
Roy began his career as a consultant specialising in selling client-paid recruitment advertising. After progressing to Operations Director of that company within 3 years, he went on to set up a specialist executive search company with James Caan (CEO of UK private equity company Hamilton Bradshaw and âDragonâ from the BBCâs popular Dragonâs Den series) working on a 100% retained basis.
He then undertook a recruitment training apprenticeship with the legendary Tony Byrne and later worked alongside Ann Swain at Learning Curve. Roy was then approached to set up the executive search division (100% retained basis) of Corporate Services Group, a ÂŁ350million turnover plc. He grew the business from 0 to 25 revenue producing consultants and a ÂŁ2million profit within 2 years.Â
In 2007 Roy co-founded âRecruitment Juiceâ to produce ground-breaking DVD and online programmes for the international recruitment market which sold into 23 countries worldwide.
Although Roy has consulted into some of the largest recruitment brands in the world, his passion is for solo recruitment entrepreneurs and SME's working with them to make their business more effective, automated and profitable. His unique approach is helping them to make more money and more placements utilising the latest strategies and technology available, perfectly blended with proven recruitment processes and methodology.Â
